I recently attended a friend's wedding in Kolkata. I intended to write a tome describing the events around the wedding but petered down upon realizing that although these events deserve recounting, things may turn out to be a little uncomfortable for some, including me if I did go through with the idea. Amongst other things, one year is behind the day Mumbai (and to a less extent, I) faced one of the most horrifying and terrible nights. The night of 26/11, as it is fashionably called by the press and the Mumbai glitterati, will remain etched for quite some time in my mind, as it would in the minds of many others who were directly or indirectly affected by the events of that ominous night. I can only wish and pray that those affected get the strength of spirit to go through whatever they have been forced to go through. today i am supposed to meet a friend of mine.. but again.. though not the first time.. unforseen circumstances came by and hailed her.. went through facebook.. and realised that some others are of similar situation.. In MY LIFE... it's because of ME, that i'm living.. or that because of YOU, that i'm living... no doubt one have to somehow accomodate with others to live at some times.. but mainly, are you living your life because of YOURSELF or OTHERS? who is the person who choose your own happiness? YOU? or OTHERS? if you realised that something is wrong, would you act on it? or let it go and thinking that one day it will resolve? after going through life for years.. perhaps i might not be at any prime age to talk about my life.. i just realised that there are still many people out there who depend on others to live.. it's not the first time i talk about this but the issue seems like a chain.. an unresolved chain in the society today.. why would people keep saying, "if...
